This dress has been languishing in my closet for far too long, but the other day it was briefly freed from those shadowy confines. I recently received a sweet package of gum courtesy of Orbit featuring their new package designs and I am a fan. I actually have been a heavy gum chewer since I worked as a cashier at a convenience store. The packages are really intriguing since their reinvention; more of an extension of your personal style than a package for gum! This cinnamon package reminds me of pop art and the star-like print inspired today’s outfit. I love how the design plays with pink and red, and dimension by layering and playing with the size of each “burst.” When I held the package up to the dress print it definitely seemed like providence, especially considering the dress is named “dynamite” and both pieces seem to offer explosions of red. So there you have it, a lovely cinnamon package inspiring a cheery outfit for a bright spring day.

this has made me miss cinnamon flavoured gum SO much! i loved it whenever i visited america and a few years ago they brought it out here and i was obsessed with it. i must have been the only person buying it though because then they stopped it. so unfair.

wow, I love all the red. Red is definitely one of my favourite colours, so this outfit is just amazing in the whole colour sense, and pattern sense. How weird is it that a random dress that you had matches the new Orbit gum pack.

Rebecca, I know that you've kinda been getting some flack about courtesy of items, mainly in regards to recieving Orbit gum, but I just wanted to say that I think it's absolutely amazing how you took something as simple as chewing gum and used that as a starting point for one of your outfits. I would never have thought of it, and I think that's what makes you a great fashion blogger. Keep it up!
