Oh You Pretty Things
I still prefer a shelf full of books and I am rather doggedly a "bag" girl, but these shoe shots from the Selby are wooing me rather passionately. There is something quite delectable about a truly wonderful shoe. The red sequin ones like Dorothy's in Oz (the film, not the book) are an absolute dream.

I've always dreamed of owning a pair of red shoes like Dorothy's! Sigh...if only I had shelves like that full of shoes...or shelves like that for the shoes I have already.

Oh my, Oh my! I have been dying for new shoes lately and this post made my heart skip a beat! Shoes are all I want for Christmas! This just inspired me to go shopping!

i'm definitely a shoe girl. i could get by on one or two bags ... but i cant seem to control my shoe habit!
oh my gosh, those shoes are enviable, but they are also so scary! I'm always afraid I'll twist my ankle in super high platforms even though I covet them at the same time. I should probably learn some coordination before I wear high heels..

There is something to be said of a closet full of shoes. I am more of a shoe girl, but I have a few pairs of Go Tos. I would get afraid of having too many shoes, for fear of wasting money, because all I ever do is go to work and maybe once in awhile to dinner. Never to a place that would be appropriate for wonderful walls of shoes to use...
But a girl can dream. I wouldn't mind having a 10th of that many shoes, while still enjoying my wall of books.

OK, so I've said I'm a coat fiend. I'm a shoe fiend as well. But I'm working on trying to keep that under control. It's so hard sometimes, especially when you see beauties like the ones shown here! I get the shopping bug and force myself to stay home, look at beautiful blogs like yours, and feel inspiration for my own closet again.
