Sly As Serpents, Harmless As Doves

It has been a fairly interesting weekend: took the LSAT, hunted through massive Antique Malls, and stumbled over snakes on twisting dirt roads. The golden summer is winding to an end and I am attempting to mentally prepare myself for a Washington State fall and winter...

I suppose I haven't much thought about the more negative aspects of winter in Washington yet. I'm so excited to wear layers and wonderful fall clothes that I've forgotten all about the rain, wind, and snow which in a few months will undoubtedly be driving me insane. These pictures (your outfit is lovely!) are a great reminder to enjoy these last few nice days we have.

I am completely in love with the colours of your feathers and your nail varnish, especially together.
Be very happy that you had a golden summer, the whole season completely bypassed the UK! (again..)
I came across the tiniest snake I've ever seen today, 2 inches long and a few millimetres wide but perfectly formed in every way :)
