Whatever comes (and it will likely not involve ships or wagons), for the moment I am enjoying the nearby rocky shore of Puget Sound. It is a short drive to reach and I might even end up kayaking out to one of the islands some day...

Just realized that there aren't any flowers in the background, so it's almost like your pretty yellow dress is!
I thought it would be the same for me, see, because in my childhood we moved every two years, but then stopped moving. Recently, like maybe last year, I kept on saying I wanted to travel, but very recently I discovered that I actually didn't like travelling.
I guess it's not for me...
a wandering lifestyle sounds absolutely amazing. I've lived in the same town my whole life, and I'm so excited to have the chance to travel and see more parts of the world.
your dress is so beautiul - I love all the embellishment on top!
I love your ideas.. It sounds indeed well to travel like a gypsy. Maybe like those medieval people who traveled and played songs on lutes and all :) love the dress too ;)
cute, cute.
I think the sea sounds so lonely.
ilove the color of that dress and the fringe around the neckline
so pretty
Your dress is so cute.
1) Your dress is perfect. Absolutely sweet yet somehow daring and edgy
2) I love the sea
3) Was recently contemplating starting a gypsy life. Care to join me? :P
Your dress is really beautiful!
a life on the sea or in a wagon is especially appealing at the moment ;)
I love that dress, what a unique little find!
i have a need to explore new things too. great pictures.
Oh wow! I love these photos! You always seem to find the perfect back drop for your outfits.
I also love the sea so much!!! The firts thing I do, when I wake up in the morning, is look to the ocean...I can see it through my window..and I feel so lucky for that...
You look so lovely...have a great weekend my friend!
mellow yellow! the dress is so beautiful and lovely =]
i adore all the pictures <3
Oh! Lovely dress! Yellow is such a nice, summery color! Unfortunately I can't wear it. It looks horrible with my skin tone. :(
And yes, you really should see Penelope. It's a really good movie, even aside from the style in it. :D

would be lovely to travel about!
these are such peacefule photos just makes me want to slow down and dream of places id like to travel!
Pretty dress! Hmm kayaking actually isn't a bad idea.
My, how lovely Washington State is! As is your dress.
really great dress! i love it!

K I know this is random, but do your Saltwaters make a squish squish noise when you walk?
Why stay in one place when you can discover somewhere new? I always love your photos, your yellow dress is so nice.
Where were these photos taken?
I normally feel the itch to travel somewhere every few months, but it seems like after I lived out of a bag for a month, with no fixed place to call mine, the itch went away (at least for now...)
Every time I think about gypsies, I'm reminded of Zac Condon, of the band Beirut. He was an A student, but when he was 16 he realized he would not learn anything useful in school so he quit and spent some time living with gypsies in Eastern Europe. I guess he's just one of those people!
As always I love your photos. I've moved upwards of 10 times in my life and I sort of start feeling antsy when I've been living or even just staying in one place without some sort of adventuring and moving about.
Oh, also, I saw a labbit (in a store) the other day and thought of your blog! :)
Wanting to be right there... beautiful!
Love that you went back to my African Resort post and found your answer waiting for you.
Lovely weekend.
your sandals are a refreshing change from the glads i keep seeing everywhere (i like those too though)
Coming from New Zealand and now living in London I REALLY REALLY miss the ocean.
beautiful pics as always.
I'm quite the opposite. Whenever I go traveling, I find myself longing for home after a few days.
Lovely yellow dress.
This post makes me think of John Masefield's poem, "Sea--Fever."
"I must down to the seas again, to the vagrant gypsy life,
To the gull's way and the whale's way where the wind's like a whetted knife;
And all I ask is a merry yarn from a laughing fellow-rover
And quiet sleep and a sweet dream when the long trick's over."
gorg dress love it
Woah, I am in love with your yellow dress. x
The yellow looks lovely on you. I adore that photo of you climbing up those rocks!
Ohhh. I'm a wanderer as well, its the pretense for my fashion blog. ;) lovely pics, i hope to take many fashion shots in europe!
Gorgeous photos! I also moved several times as a child, and the desire for new surroundings stuck with me as well. I guess I could stay in one place for a long time, but there's so much to see!!
the love pictures on the rocks!
That dress it beautiful. I love it,
and those pictures are gorgeous :)
The detailing on the front of your dress is beautiful.
If you're really interested in spending time at sea, you should look into Seamesters. My partner in crime, Joyce, just left for the summer session a few days ago. She'll be chronicling her travels at http://unravelmytravels.blogspot.com/
Also, thank you so much for your help with my article. It went great.
I love the 4th and 5th picture! And the shells are so awesome. You've painted quite a lovely picture there.
The dress is so cute, and great color! xoxo
Gorgeous gorgeous pictures. You look amazing as always. A life on the sea wouldn't be bad. I always wanted to go to high school on the tall ships..thought it would be an interesting adventure. Hope you are having a great summer.
I love the photo of the mussel shells. I hope to do a lot of kayaking this summer. It's so invigorating and relaxing at the same time.
I too spent most of my childhood days from city to city, now I feel I can't stay put in one place for too long.
Adore the dress, is it vintage? And the shoes are a perfect match!
xo

Love yellow, love that dress! Ditto to life on the sea, though I would probably miss all the amenities of life on land.
These ares so tranquil and breathtaking, love that yellow dress =]
You have a wonderful blog, would you like to exchange links?

great dress and photos!
Ack, the Sound is beautiful. Now you're making me miss the ocean!
What a lovely dress! The colour for summery...
Have a great weekend!
XoXo
gorgeous dress, what a beautiful butter yellow with fun embroidery. and those really are the quintessential summer sandals
the puget sound is beautiful and i must say it suits you
but a covered gypsy wagon sounds equally divine hehe I love how you have this travel bug, so many young people are oddly missing the need to see the world, it should almost be a requirement though in my opinion. you must broaden your mind and world and truly learn who you are where you can be the best possible version of yourself
I love the first picture of you against the rocks. The contrast is so lovely. And, wow! The detail on that dress is gorgeous.
I feel like I was born for a wandering life, too, but I haven't had much time to wander yet...
truly love the detail of yellow dress. =)
Interesting, my moving about has instilled in me a great desire to be grounded instead. I am always centred on the end of the journey; I'm the sort that relishes the end not the means. My hippie grandmama is a wanderer though, she says there is no end.
PS: the front of your dress is just so very very very pretty.
Such open stretches of water really do make one want to journey off in no direction to explore and encounter unseen adventures.
I didn't move much as a child at all, but we did travel a lot which has left me hungry for new lands and experiences. For the first time in my life in November, when I graduate, I shall be free to go and do as I please where ever my fancy takes me. I am so excited!
Oh, and that's a very lovely dress!
The front of the yellow dress is spectaqular!!! I always enjoy looking at your photos :) & you have the best shoes.
i love the yellow dress, and the song that the title is from!
trisch xo
Beautiful photos. They have a very similar feel to the first photos in your last post. I love how yours has a vintage tint to it though.
beautiful
lovely! :)
p/s; following~
You always have such amazing photos! I love the details on that dress!
What a pretty dress, I love the lacy collar. I always used to think about sailing around the orld for a few years and just living on a boat, it would be so nice just to separate yourself from the world for a while.
What an amazing dress! Love love.
Also, the open sea is kind of brutal. Little harbors are the way to go.
Love the dress and I totally know what you mean, I can't go anywhere without a bag - where would I put my stuff?
Your blog is so inspiring!

Your would be such a nice and beautiful gypsy :). I love your style.
get me to the northwest, immediately!
lovely dress! i want to travel around so much, but the comfort of being home is nice too. i just want to see everything! great pics.
what a fantastic dress!!
Wow, the scalloped lace detailing on the dress is amazing.
Seeing different parts of the country or the world is an exciting thing. Travelling by sea sounds so romantic and peaceful, especially in comparison to the crowded commercial airlines.
How I wish I have that view every day. You're very lucky. And fashionable. Teehee.
Gorgeous dress!!! I think I would prefer to be a gypsy though, fun fun fun stuff!
XOXOXO

Wondering through life does sound like a romantic thought.
Also, your dress is lovely.
xo
Haha I love that second photograph, I actually thought they were shoes when I first looked at it :) And your dress is so beautiful, love the colour!
I have always had a romantic vision of life at sea, it is such a wonderfully enchanting thought. I think some people are quite literally born as free spirits, but for now, I make do with daydreaming of leaving, and coming back from my thoughts feeling refreshed :)
Beautiful, amazing, fantastic dress! It looks lovely on you and you look lovely by the sea. :)
This is just the perfect outfit! The setting just enhances it too. Really beautiful pictures!
I love your blog, and I am glad to know that you take your pictures yourself, because I do that as well. :)
Beautiful! I completely identify with this post; I've moved around a lot, too, and think a gypsy-bohemian life of endless traveling would be just the ticket. :) But I like living near the ocean and don't want to leave it anytime soon. It's so breathtaking where you are; I've always wanted to visit Washington. I'd love to take some amazing photos like that! And, oh yes, your dress rocks, too. :D
I adore this dress.
I love that your blog photography is part of your style - and not just a way of showing what you're wearing. Your shots are wonderful!
Beautiful dress! The yellow is gorgeous and it fits well with the scenery.
It almost reminds me of Pocahontas :)
your dress is so stunning I love the fringing details
Super cute dress!
That dress is perfection!
Living on the sea for a while would be great - my dad did that, years ago. He was a ship's doctor for a while :)
that dress is just stunning on you! Love the detailing at the front.
The title for this post is utterly inspiring! so romantic :0)
The pictures are so beautiful, from the blue sky to the dress!
